Water Profiling
Water Profiling provides a unique “Finger-print”
Every water system has its own unique “footprint” depending on source, climate, area etc. Predect’s technology adjusts to each system’s water profile. Water profiling is a critical part of the Predect Online Water Protection System because the Predect software is then adjusted to the unique footprint to each water system. This ensures the highest system reliability in terms of reducing the risk of false alarm and permits to establish a pre-defined threshold value (THV)
After installing the system, when contamination levels exceed threshold levels, a real time water sample is collected and immediate automatic alerts are sent via mobile systems and/or via the internet regarding potential dangerous changes in drinking water quality. This contributes to assure optimal responsiveness in case of contamination.
Furthermore, the system can be programmed to automatically control and adjust the treatment process itself.
