Predect’s View on Layered Water Quality Protection
The figure below demonstrates Predect’s view on water quality protection. The first layer reflects Predect’s current system, allowing systems operators to receive immediate warnings upon possible micro-contamination. The second layer represents an additional layer that Predect is currently developing. The third layer is what is done today, often regulated but still manual. With layer two in place, water treatment facilities will improve their protection against organic contamination and by that be better protected against expensive outbreaks.
