Projects in Europe
» Swedish Environmental Research Institute
In May 2009, a Predect 300 system was installed at Hammarby Sjöstadsverk (“HSV”) in Stockholm.HSV is Sweden's leading and internationally reknown R&D facility in water purification technology. The facility contributes to profile and spread unique Swedish know-how related to water and environmental technology worldwide. Currently the Predect system is installed in a waste water reclamation line.
In June 2009, another Predect 300 system was installed at the municipal water plant in Lilla Edet which supplies the local community of 9,000 people with water from a nearby river system. The project was concluded in January 2010.
» Motala
In August 2009, the Swedish Water and Wastewater Association (“SWWA”)—whose membership includes the 2000 municipal waterworks of Sweden—awarded Predect and partner Sweco a project at municipal water plant in Motala, Sweden. The project included two systems, one for monitoring incoming surface source water (Predect 100) and one for outgoing “finished” water (Predect 300).
» Arboga
In September 2009, Predect signed a trial contract with the municipal water plant in Arboga, Sweden. Arboga’s facility treats surface source waters with a special kind of sand filtration. In January 2010, Arboga signed Predect’s first commercial contract. The system has been running since November 2009.
» Vårgårda
Also in September of 2009, Predect signed a trial contract with a treatment facility in Vårgårda, Sweden. The setup is similar to Arboga, however Vårgårda is a ground water facility, which improves the variety of Predect’s reference cases. The project was concluded in December 2009.
